Meatloaf Paradise By The Dashboard Light

* Meat Loaf was a vegetarian at one time. He claims to have renounced it after k.d. lang, another vegetarian, refused to speak with him because of his name.

* On August 26 to August 28, 2006, Meat Loaf took part in an annual celebrity golf version of the Ryder Cup called The All*Star Cup in South Wales, UK. August 26 was practice day, August 27 and August 28 were the two days of competition. Europe won the Cup for the second consecutive year. Meat lost his two games, but was a massive hit with the crowds, entertaining them with lots of laughs and fun as he made his way round the course. Alice Cooper was a fellow member of the US team. The event was a big success, with large crowds attending, and the two main days of competition were shown live on UK television. Meat clearly enjoyed the event and hopefully will return to play again in future years of The All*Star Cup.
* Meat Loaf is said to have cheated death on numerous occasions, having crashed in a car which rolled over,[13] been hit on the head with a shot put,[14] and being struck by Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.[15] More recently, in October 2006, his private jet was almost forced to crash land at London's Stansted Airport after his plane's forward landing gear failed temporarily.

Hexstatic - The Horn

Hexstatic is a UK music duo, consisting of Stuart Warren Hill and Robin Brunson, that specializes in creating "quirky audio visual electro." Formed in 1997 after Hill and Brunson met while producing visuals at the Channel Five launch party, they decided to take over for the original members of the Ninja Tune multimedia collective Hex that had disbanded around the same time.
Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five - The Message

"The Message" is an old school hip hop song released in 1982, performed by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. The song's lyrics were some of the first in the genre of rap to talk about the struggles and the frustrations of living in the ghetto. The song (including most of the lyrics) was written by Sugar Hill songwriter Ed "Duke Bootee" Fletcher, and Flash was originally uninterested in recording it. Furious Five rapper Melle Mel was the only group member that contributed any lyrics to the final version of the song.

ADVERT BREAK
Radiohead - Karma Police

A music video was made for the song, featuring Yorke as the only passenger in a driverless car as it chases a man (Hungarian actor Lajos Kovács) down a deserted highway. Finally, when it looks like the car is finally going to run the man over, it instead reverses, leaving a trail of gas, which the man sets alight. The camera then turns to show the back seat in which Yorke was sat, but he has disappeared. The video was directed by Jonathan Glazer, previously responsible for Radiohead's "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" clip. Glazer won MTV's director of the year award in 1997 for his work on this, as well as Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity."
