Stone Sour 30/30-150

Stone Sour (named after an alcoholic-drink consisting of one part whisky, a splash of orange juice and sour mix) was originally formed in 1992 by Corey Taylor and drummer Joel Ekman. Taylor's long time friend, Shawn Economaki, joined shortly after, and filled in as the bass player. The band had played clubs and bars with various different guitarists - often filling the position for just one show.

"30/30-150" is the second single from the rock band Stone Sour's sophomore album from 2006 Come What(ever) May. The song received a nomination for Best Metal Performance at the 49th annual Grammy Awards.[1]

The video shows the band members individually in high-contrast black and white superimposed over a timer counting down from "3030.150" and occasionally large close-ups of Corey Taylor's mouth. According to Taylor, the song is about always remembering who you are, where you came from and to never give in to pressures.

The title may refer to a .30-30 Winchester cartridge with a 150-grain bullet.

The Clash - Rock The Casbah

"Rock the Casbah", one of the most popular songs by The Clash, was released on their 1982 album Combat Rock. It is one of their few songs to become a Top 10 hit in the United States, reaching #8 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song was inspired by the banning of rock music in Iran under Ayatollah Khomeini. The song gives a fictitious account of the ban being defied by the population who proceed to "rock the casbah", causing the King to order jet fighters to bomb any people in violation of the ban. The pilots ignore the orders, and instead play rock music on their cockpit radios.
