The Avalanches - Frontier Psychiatrist
The Avalanches are an electronic music collective from Melbourne, Australia. They are well known for their energetic live shows and use of eclectic sampling, creating their debut album Since I Left You entirely out of hundreds (some have claimed thousands) of samples, from records both obscure and massively popular. Their technique was most famously demonstrated on the single "Frontier Psychiatrist".

NWA - Straight Outta Compton
N.W.A. (Niggaz With Attitude) was a hip hop group that was formed in Compton, California in 1986. Over the course of the five years the group was together, they continually redefined the face of West Coast hip hop in both lyrical and instrumental ways. N.W.A was one of the first gangsta rap groups to achieve widespread commercial success without radio airplay or many other conventional mainstream promotions.

Kylie Minogue & Nick Cave - Where The Wild Roses Grow
The pop singer Kylie Minogue, who recorded a best-selling duet with Cave in 1995, has said that he was a positive influence: "He taught me to never veer too far from who I am, but to go further, try different things, and never lose sight of myself at the core. For me, the hard part was unleashing the core of myself and being totally truthful in my music".

Little Shop of Horrors - Dentist!
Little Shop of Horrors was the first DVD to be recalled for content.
In 1998, Warner Bros. released a Special Edition DVD of the 1986 musical film. This DVD included approximately 23 minutes of unfinished footage from Oz's original ending, although it was in black and white and was missing sound, visual, and special effects.
David Geffen, the film's producer and owner of the rights, apparently wanted to re-release the film to theaters with the original ending intact. Geffen became angry at Warner Bros. for including this footage on the DVD without his consent, and as a result, the studio yanked it off the shelves in a matter of days and replaced with a second edition without the extra material. The original first edition DVD is now a much sought-after collector's item and sells for upwards of $150 on eBay, although there are copies of the ending floating around the net. Some guess that, with the coming 20th anniversery of the film's theatrical release, it will be featured on a new DVD, though this isn't certain. Some even speculate that they're aiming for the 25th anniversary for a re-release.
For the time being, no plans have been made to re-release the film or DVD with the alternate ending, although modern audiences may be better prepared for a darker version of what is essentially a morality play.

Blondie - One Way or Another
Blondie is an American rock band that first gained fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s. They were pioneers in the early American punk rock and New Wave scene. Their first two albums contained strong elements of these genres, and although they were successful in Australia and the United Kingdom, Blondie were regarded as an underground band in the United States until the release of their third album in 1978. Over the next three years, they achieved several hit singles and were noted for their eclectic mix of musical styles as they incorporated elements of disco, dance, hip hop and reggae, while retaining their basic style as a new wave band.
Lead singer Deborah Harry achieved a level of celebrity that eclipsed other band members leading to tension within the group. Following a poorly received album, and with core member Chris Stein diagnosed with a potentially fatal disease, the group disbanded in 1982.[1] As members pursued other projects, Blondie's reputation grew over the following decade and the group reformed in 1998, achieving renewed success and a number one single in the United Kingdom the following year. The group toured and performed throughout the world over the following years, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006

The Specials - Ghost Town
"True innovators of the punk era, the Specials began the British ska revival craze, combining the highly danceable ska and rocksteady beat with punk's energy and attitude, and taking on a more focused and informed political and social stance than their predecessors and peers."

ArnoCorps: Predator
ArnoCorps is a rock music group based in San Francisco, CA, originally formed in Austria in 1990.
The band combines the militaristic appearance, a sound rooted in skate punk and metal music. Describing their music as Action Adventure Hardcore Rock and Roll, the genre is characterized by a unique band arrangement of vocalist, drummer, two guitarists and two bass players. The result is what the members call "heroic symmetry."
Lyrical content is claimed by the band to be inspired by ancient folklore and mythology originating from the alps of their native Austria, delivered with the intent of continuing the sacred tradition of chronicling heroic deeds and fantastic adventures through song. Critics point out that the band's songs share titles with the action films of Austrian-born actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger, with many of the lyrics paralleling movie dialogue and plots, similar to The Misfits' lyrical focus on horror films and B-movies.

Macc Lads - No sheep til Buxton
The Macc Lads – the self proclaimed "rudest crudest lewdest drunkest band in Christendom" – formed in the late 1970s in Macclesfield, UK. Their career spanned the years 1981 to 1995 and they become notorious for their foul mouthed lyrics, political incorrectness, drinking, sexism and homophobia. They managed to offend a great many people and were repeatedly banned from venues and radio stations whilst retaining a die hard fan base. They are perhaps best described as the musical equivalent of the Viz comic, sharing many of the same themes.
Song lyrics cover an array of subjects, including beer, sex, chips 'n' gravy, football, fighting, and bodily functions. "Newcy Brown" beer makes an appearance in one song, but Boddingtons is the beer of choice for a true Macc Lad. And according to the Lads' songs, forcing a gay man to drink several pints of Boddingtons will change his sexual orientation!
Numerous synonyms for female genitalia, sexual intercourse, and homosexuals have been coined by the Macc Lads throughout the years, which is a great source of pride. However, 'Muttley McLad' – the lead singer/shouter of the band – is reported to have said that his proudest achievement is rhyming "George Michael" with "menstrual cycle".

Moloko - Sing it Back
The band's name originates from the novel A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, in which it means either "milk" (the name of a milk drink Alex and his 'droogs' consume, and the Russian word for milk) or "method of narcotic ingestion"; similarly fellow electronic Sheffield band Heaven 17 had also taken their name from the novella when they formed in 1980, shortly after leaving (the original incarnation of) the Human League.

Kreator - Betrayer
Kreator is a popular thrash metal band from Essen, Germany. They originally started under the name Tormentor. Starting their career in 1982, they played thrash metal with Venom influences. They differ from the Bay Area thrashers in their brutality and speed. Their style of music is similar to their compatriots Destruction and Sodom, the three biggest German thrash metal bands.
Kreator's work has been consistently in the vein of pure thrash, with the exception of three albums during the 1990s when they undertook serious experimentation. Incorporating industrial, goth and avant-garde elements into their sound, the results were uneven.
